Q. What can’t you start your day without?
A. Creating peace in the morning is really important to me so I can’t start my day without lighting a candle or incense and then putting on the ‘Spa Music’ playlist on Spotify. (Try it! You will never go back…)
Q. Breakfast is?
A. …Often rushed! I am not a morning person so I will often grab something on the go on the way to see clients and yet when I am looking after myself I love avocado on toast with a poached egg and lots of tabasco. A great fresh juice also keeps me going.
Q. What beauty product can you not live without?
A. I love Pixi Overnight Glow Serum which is a concentrated exfoliating gel. If I was allowed a cheeky second product I would choose my Cloud Cloth which has totally changed my skincare routine for the better!
Q. What gets you going for the day? (exercise / wellbeing routine)
A. I take it gently and will sit down and do some gratitude journaling to help me get going. This gets me feeling like I am rising up to the meet the day and that positive mindset supports me even when I am looking at a hectic diary. (This is done in low light with a chill out playlist so it feels really cosy.)
Q. Where you are most inspired?
A. Nothing beats a walk through nature – especially near a forest or being surrounded by trees. It quiets my mind and lets my creativity bubble. It fills me back up
Q. What cause are you currently championing?
A. I am on a mission to help people get over comparison and live their own lives free from obsessing about what other people are doing. I feel that the ‘power couple’ of social media and technology have created a Las Vegas of comparison for us which is creating some unique problems. (Don’t get me started!)
Q. Where is your happy place?
A. It isn’t particularly glamorous, and yet, snuggle me under a blanket with my Golden Retriever on a Friday night and I’ll be in a joy bubble.
Q. How do you relax and switch off?
A. I make sure I take time offline regularly and I find this really restorative.
Q. Book or Boxset – what are you reading/watching?
A. I am currently glued to Vikings on Amazon Prime (and following most of the cast on Instagram too #stalker)
Q. Your bedtime routine?
A. I try and be in bed for 11pm and ahead of then, winding down for the day, I’ll make sure I don’t go on social media. I will put on my essential oils diffuser and read a chapter of one of the fifty two books next to my bed and then drift off hoping for a solid eight hours.
